Postponed: Loot: Mad About Jewelry

Museum of Arts and Design, New York City, USA

20 - 26th April 2020

LOOT: MAD About Jewelry has been postponed to the week of December 7, 2020.

Out of an abundance of caution and with careful consideration of evolving public health concerns in New York City, the Museum has determined that the potential risk to the well-being of LOOT's international roster of artists, the attendees, and Museum staff must be the primary consideration.

We thank all of our supporters for their understanding and cooperation during this unprecedented situation and for their commitment to support MAD. We look forward to hosting everyone for a festive celebration later this year!

Please stay tuned for further details regarding the rescheduled event.

All benefit ticket holders will be contacted by email regarding next steps.

For additional questions, please contact rebekka.grossman@madmuseum.org

For its 20th edition, the Museum’s annual benefit will bring more than 50 international jewelry artists to New York for a week of celebration, shopping, and acquisition of must-have statement pieces from some of the most innovative creators in the field.

MAD’S Commitment To Art Jewelry

MAD is the only American museum to possess a gallery dedicated to the display of both special jewelry exhibitions and the Museum’s nearly encyclopedic collection of contemporary and modern studio and art jewelry. Now on view, 45 Stories in Jewelry: 1947 to Now highlights the Museum of Arts and Design’s contributions to the field’s advancements and contextualizes the bold experimental practices of its most compelling artists within the key historical moments that ultimately broadened the scope and reach of art as a wearable medium.

Tickets

Entrance to LOOT is included in the price of Museum admission: $16 general; $14 for seniors; $12 for students; free for MAD members and children under 18 years of age. To purchase tickets online, visit madmuseum.org/visit.
