Who Is It For?
This course is ideal for students who want to learn new techniques and practice their skills or for students who just want to broaden their jewellery knowledge.
What Will Be Taught?
Each term focuses on a different topic where students will be taught how to explore new designs and ideas within a set theme. The theme can be used for making a specialised piece, which can include different techniques like casting, findings and brooch backs, etc. Some students might want to work on just one substantial piece and other might want to explore end experiment more rather than work on a finished piece.
The theme and the techniques are just a suggestion and students are welcome to bring in their own projects, ideas and designs.
Who Will Teach The Course?
This course will be led by Kelvin Birk and Katrin Spranger, founders and directors of K² Academy of Contemporary Jewellery.
About K² Academy Of Contemporary Jewellery
K² is a new Jewellery School that offers a conceptual, free-thinking approach to jewellery design inderpinned by rigorous technical training. In addition to our ongoing jewellery classes, K² Jewellery Academy is dedicated to offer master classes and workshops by internationally renowned academics.
