Cancelled - International Jewellery London 2020

13 - 15 September 2020

Alexandra Palace, London

IJL, the UK’s Leading Jewellery Trade Event, will take place from Sunday 13 – Tuesday 15 September, 2020, at a new London venue, the historic Alexandra Palace.

Alexandra Palace is one of the UK’s most renowned and historic exhibition spaces, whose heritage and style evoke the jewellery industry it will showcase.

Set in beautiful parkland, only 10 minutes north of Kings Cross, Alexandra Palace has long been a beacon for domestic and international visitors for concerts, events and exhibitions during its 146 years. In the last year it has hosted London Fashion Week events and catwalk shows, award-winning music and comedy, alongside many trade shows. It is easily accessible from both central London hotels and quieter areas of London.

Alexandra Palace is an ideal backdrop for IJL 2020 and the jewellery community it serves.

Katie Morris, Event Director of IJL, said:

“We are so pleased to be able to offer another iconic, interesting home for IJL. Alexandra Palace offers a great exhibiting and visiting experience in a unique environment.  The redevelopment plans for Olympia are very exciting and we wish them all the best for the next few years as these plans come to fruition. In the meantime, we are looking forward to working with everyone to make IJL 2020 and beyond the best showcase of the jewellery industry in the UK.”

Great transport links to Alexandra Palace:
Alexandra Palace has its own train station (Alexandra Palace Station). A regular train service runs from both Moorgate, through Highbury & Islington or from Kings Cross, changing at Finsbury Park. Wood Green is the nearest underground station on the Piccadilly Line (journey time is 20 minutes from Piccadilly Circus). Dedicated shuttle buses operate regularly between Wood Green and Alexandra Palace. There is ample parking at the venue.

IJL 2020 will build on 2019, where highlights from the three day show included the Lord Mayor of Sheffield opening the Spotlight on Sheffield’s jewellery showcase; UK luxury watch market overview with stats showing a 26% increase in market value; Jeweller of the Fair John Moore who was featured in The Times and The Guardian; while luxury forecaster and editor Paola de Luca discussed the SS20 trends.
