Learn Hand Engraving in London
This is a six week course taking place one Thursday per week from 6-9pm,
starting 18 May 2017.
Organised by the Hand Engravers Association, courses are held at Craft Central, London.
Who is the course for?
This course is aimed at all skill levels, from complete beginners, to improvers, to practiced metalsmiths wishing to build their engraving skill.
What will I learn?
During the hands-on, practical course students will learn from a highly skilled professional with many years of experience. The course has a maximum quota of just eight students allowing sessions to be tailored to suit the needs of the individual participants. For beginners, the aims are to develop a sound basic understanding of the tools, techniques and materials used in hand engraving, and to progressively build skills and knowledge. For improvers and professionals the objective will be to build on existing skills and to develop new techniques.
Last short course before Autumn!
More classes are planned for the Autumn but this is the last evening class before the long summer break - so don't delay book now places are limited.
