Co Founder of Dower & Hall

Dan Dower has 40 + years experience at the bench, design desk and latterly the computer doing 3D design. Always learning, experimenting and practicing his skills, and still active in the designing and production of silver and gold collections for heritage brand Dower & Hall as well as precious commissions under the name of Daniel Dower.

Since graduating in 1987 from Middlesex with a degree in Jewellery Design, Dan has been part of a movement that has established an alternative Fashion and Design led Jewellery world that stands aside from the Traditional Trade. More female centric, it listens to and is inspired by the styles that women actual want to buy and wear, with good design and quality production being imperative.

Inspirations for the plethora of designs and collections come from Dan’s fascination with everything around him as well as collaboration with wife and business partner Diane Hall. Travel, Nature, Museums and Culture all feed ideas into what is now a house style, with classic designs always being revised to keep them relevant to a growing audience.

Co-Founder of The Diamond Setter

Gavin Marsh  is a master jeweller and diamond/gemstone setter with over 20 years of bench experience. He honed his skills in Hatton Garden, creating jewellery for many of the high street brands we know of today. He trained under the meticulous eyes of traditional goldsmiths and stone setters. These experiences brought him to the doors of Rolex watch companied in their case and bracelet department.

Unbeknownst to him, the pandemic will catapult him to launch his own jewellery brand. He opened a small studio in Tunbridge Wells dedicated for trade work only. But soon enough, retail customers found him and in 2024, he opened his flagship store. In the same year, he is the first jeweller in the UK to work with crystalline osmium, cementing his status as an innovative and highly skilled craftsman.

Gavin works alongside his wife, Lorraine who is a GIA alumni. Their shop, The Diamond Setter is located at the historic Pantiles in Royal Tunbridge Wells. Gavin and Lorraine supports the trade with stone setting, laser engraving and are now introducing Osmium to fellow makers around the country.

Founder of TVRRINI

Bibi Cheung is a designer-goldsmith and a Freewoman of the Goldsmiths’ Company. Her unique blend of traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics has led her to work with an extensive clientele worldwide, addressing challenges in jewellery design, product development, and manufacturing. Currently, she is a member of the Goldsmiths’ Centre training team and the owner of fine jewellery atelier TVRRINI.

Co Founder of Ruby Jack

Created by Ruby in 2018 and now run by Ruby & Chris Jack, partners in love and business. We employ a small UK based team and do most of the making in house, only outsourcing to UK based tradespeople for our casting and gold plating. Ruby is our designer, she is also a stylist, and singer, with firm roots in music and the visual arts. Her former career as a musician has deepened her appreciation for how sounds can conjure shapes and forms. Her path to jewellery came when her head was turned to coax a song, but a shape whistled in her ear. Her songs were destined for metal, resolved to adorn bodies and to echo their stories. Chris is a visual artist who enjoys working behind the scenes at Ruby Jack whilst also pursuing his own creative practice.
