Dazzle opens this month at Oxo Tower Wharf, showcasing over 80 contemporary jewellery designers from across Europe, from France to Lithuania.
New Graduate Additions
This year’s event will Introduce 15 exciting new designer makers, handpicked for the quality of their workmanship and innovation of their designs, from the 2016 graduate shows, including Holly Higgins, Genevieve Howard, Emily Higham, Wanshu Li and Amber Cooper-Green.
Established Names
These new graduates will rub shoulders with an internationally collected line-up of contemporary jewellery royalty, including, Heather Woof, Hannah Louise Lamb, Lynne MacLachlan, Grace Girvan, Jessica Briggs, Flora Bhattachary and Jane Adam.
Styles, Statements and Materials
The event will showcase (and sell) up to 4,000 unique, handmade pieces for both men and women, in materials ranging from leather to lapis, plastic to platinum, aluminium to amethyst, textiles to topaz as well as recycled materials and found artefacts; all unique, all direct from the makers, all for sale and all ready to take home. With styles for everyone, including the architectural, organic, figurative, statement, classic contemporary, kinetic, abstract and the wonderfully whimsical.
Dazzle Extras
With the usual Dazzle Extras section still to be announced, which, in previous years has included metalsmiths, handmade accessories and printmakers. The perfect place for unique Christmas presents, ranging from £20 to £5,000. All at the largest, most distinguished and longest established selling exhibition of contemporary jewellery in Europe, which has remained at the vanguard of jewellery design development since first coining the very phrase ‘contemporary jewellery’ 34 years ago.
