Thirteen of Britain’s most exciting new designer-makers are staging an exhibition. Collective: a Maker’s Exhibition runs from 15-20 November 2016, and will showcase a unique blend of styles and media, including jewellery and textile designs, stylish, modern furnishings, laser-cut marquetry and breath taking ceramics.

All thirteen are members of the Craft Council’s prestigious Hothouse scheme, an intensive yearly development programme that gives selected emerging makers the tools and skills to create a sustainable and successful business. All were awarded places as the southern cohort of Hothouse 2016, and decided to work together as a group to create a unique, multi-disciplinary show of contemporary craft “made with passion and pride”. This will be an opportunity for the public to buy hand-made craft direct from the maker.
