Cockpit Winter Open Studios 2026 - Deptford
More than 185 London makers open their studios to visitors over two weekends this winter, with jewellery and silversmithing among over 25 craft disciplines on show.
Cockpit, London’s centre for craft, opens its studios in Bloomsbury and Deptford to the public each winter so visitors can meet makers where their work is made. This year more than 185 makers are taking part, including 11 new makers and 7 returning alumni.
Jewellery and silversmithing sit alongside contemporary ceramics and glass, handwoven textiles, fashion, leather accessories, embroidery, homewares, mosaics and woodturning. Visitors can buy directly from the makers, with prices from stocking fillers to luxury pieces, or commission something personal.
Cockpit is an award-winning social enterprise and registered charity, and has supported makers for 40 years. It is home to more than 175 independent creative businesses across its two sites and helps around 40 new makers into practice each year on funded places. Every ticket sold supports this work.
There will be seasonal food and hot drinks at a pop-up café in Bloomsbury and at Spring Café Cockpit in Deptford.

- Local residents (Camden for Bloomsbury, Lewisham for Deptford): £6 in advance, £7.50 on the door
- Deptford Friday late: £6 in advance, £5 on the door
- Children 16 and under: free
- Open Access Pass, with multiple entries including the VIP preview (limited): Bloomsbury £30, Deptford £25, both sites £40
