Taking place over two weekends – 10-12 June in Bloomsbury and 17-19 June in Deptford - Cockpit Summer Festival and Open Studios will be a joyous, experience of all things making.

Cockpit is home to some of the most exciting makers in the world. Spanning every kind of craft, the Cockpit makers are united by their extraordinary skill and imagination.

With free entry, Cockpit Summer Festival and Open Studios is a chance to experience craft, meet with makers in their studios and buy their products direct - and enjoy a great day out.

Go behind the scenes and into the workshops of leading makers and discover the secrets behind extraordinary work. Be the first in line for new products and one-off pieces and buy direct from makers in their studios where original pieces are created. From homewares, gifts and textiles, to jewellery, fashion and accessories, there is so much to discover at Cockpit at a price point to suit all budgets.

Experience the joy of making, with workshops, demonstrations, masterclasses and free family workshops over the two weekends. Bring your future makers along and make a day of it. Plus more Summer Festival fun, music, good food and fine company.

Don’t miss out on the third and final chance to acquire a mystery postcard-sized artwork in the popular, sell-out Secret Postcard Sale. Over 100 original artworks with a Summer Festival theme, handmade by Cockpit makers in ceramics, textiles, leather, glass or print.

In the run-up to the events, book onto an exciting talks programme introducing our makers, their inspirations and processes.
