Christie’s Luxury Week Geneva: Magnificent Jewels and A Connoisseur’s Collection
Date: Thursday 5 to Tuesday 10 November 2026 (live auctions 8–10 November; online sales run until 17 and 18 November)
Venue: Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues, 33 Quai des Bergues, 1201 Geneva, Switzerland
Christie’s brings its jewellery, watch and motor car auctions together for a week of sales in Geneva, led by The Bulgari Pink, a 24-carat Fancy Intense Pink diamond set in a 1950s Bulgari ring.
The Bulgari Pink headlines the Magnificent Jewels auction on 10 November. The diamond was bought in India in the 1950s and has stayed with the same noble family ever since. It was set in a ring by Bulgari in Rome during the golden age of Cinecittà, and has never been offered at auction before. A GIA Notable Letter states that the stone shows characteristics consistent with diamonds historically associated with the Golconda mines, and it is one of the few such letters to include a Golconda attribution. The estimate is CHF 10–15 million (US$12–18 million).
The same sale includes Art Nouveau jewels by René Lalique alongside pieces by Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Harry Winston and the contemporary master jeweller JAR.
Earlier that day, Exceptional Jewels & Objects of Elegance: A Connoisseur’s Collection Part I offers twentieth-century jewels, Art Deco vanity cases and 18th- and 19th-century gold boxes from a private collection built over four decades, with pieces by Bulgari, Cartier, Graff and Van Cleef & Arpels. The collection is expected to achieve more than US$25 million and is one of the most important jewellery collections to come to auction in recent years. A further 152 lots, including jewels and watches by Boucheron, de Grisogono, David Morris and Piaget, follow in an online sale with estimates from CHF 1,000.
The online Jewels and Handbags sale includes a later version of the Cartier Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs charm bracelet, first commissioned by Walt Disney for his wife Lillian, who wore it to the film’s premiere in 1937. Each enamel charm is signed Cartier.
The week also includes a Rare Watches auction of 218 lots, from a 1908 Patek Philippe split-seconds chronograph pocket watch to a set of five F.P.Journe watches from the collection of Michael Schumacher, and the Gooding Christie’s Geneva motor car auction.
