Sunday: Honing Skills
We will spend the day honing skills learnt on Saturday and also chasing a small copper bowl in the round. ( arox 7 cm diameter and 7 cm high)
Things you will need to bring
Copper and tooled steel are provided in the cost of the course, but if you are interested in chasing in silver then do let me know and I can buy some in for the weekend.
Pitch bowls and tools are provided to use on the course.
Designs
I find that if students get the chance to think about deisgns before the course, then this gives them more time to play on the day! I tend to work with figurative imagery, such as Animals, birds and plants, but abstract pattern and shape also work well. I suggest looking for a simple line drawing of your idea, and then we can make it more elaborate as we chase.
