Building Your Craft Industry Network and Starting Conversations

6 November 2019

The Goldsmiths' Centre, London

Broadening your circle of contacts and networking is crucial to developing your profile and practice, but it can be a daunting process. Start today and join us as we bring together practitioners from across the industry, including blacksmiths and silversmiths, to launch Birmingham City University’s new e-book Making Form: Contemporary British Fine Metalwork.

The evening will feature introductions to the topic by industry professionals, Rebecca de Quin and Lucy Quinnell, helping you to understand how they pushed beyond their comfort zone and forged their network.

Making Form: British Fine Metalwork is written by Kenneth Quickenden and Lee Hewitt and you will receive a copy of the e-book as part of the ticket price (a download code will be given on admission to the event).
