An exhibition initiated by the China Academy of Art, in collaboration with BeCraft, the Handwerk München Gallery (DE), the Legnica Gallery of Art (PL) and the CODA Museum (PB)

Does the soul exist? If so, what is its consistency? And where will she lodge?

Rational or not, the answer depends on the personal beliefs of everyone. At the beginning of this hypothesis, that of the weight of the soul - which should be equivalent to 21 grams - a series of world artists set the tone.

Driven by aspirations (in) consciously influenced by their cultural baggage, they show with simplicity and humility jewels reflecting deep human concerns, beyond the materiality of existence and diktats of consumption.

"So I know that the saying that life and death are the same is both false and absurd, that the saying of a long life and a short life as indistinguishable is totally made. It is unfortunate that our future generations see the present as we see the past. [...] Even if the world changes and things are different from now on, the spirit I use to make my heart speak is constant. "

Excerpt from a poem from the Orchid Pavilion highlighted by Xu Jiang, Chairman of the Academic Committee of the China Academy of Art.
