Milano Jewelery Tour is the official partner of the first edition of Contemporania 28-30 September 2023

Royal Palace of Pedralbes, Barcelona

28 to 30 September 2023

Milano Jewellery Tour, a project to enhance the communication of jewelry founded by Eugenia Gadaleta, is the official partner of the first edition of Contemporania High Craftsmanship Barcelona.

The event, conceived by Paulo Ribeiro and organized by Le Departément Interiors SL and Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya, will be hosted by the Royal Palace of Pedralbes in Barcelona from 28 to 30 September 2023, and will exhibit the best of high craftsmanship. The event was born from the transformation of the previous JOYA Barcelona Art Jewelery and Objects, focused on contemporary research jewellery.

The exhibition will be open to individual artists, institutions, galleries and group exhibitions. It will be the only fair in Spain dedicated to high craftsmanship. After awarding the talented South Korean contemporary Jewelry designer Eunseok Han during the last edition of JOYA for her Stay Alive collection, winner of the thirteenth edition - which creates splendid, colorful and very light ornaments with parts of recycled cans: a denunciation of the colors of coral reefs that are disappearing due to pollution - Eugenia Gadaleta will be in Barcelona to award a new creative who will win a communication consultancy and a professional press kit to convey their creative ideas in the media.

“The award was created with the intention of supporting designers in communicating their business to journalists by giving them marketing and press office foundations. In my career, I deal daily with goldsmiths and creatives who are very good at their craft, but too often they are not provided with the key tools to get the visibility they deserve. I thank Contemporania which gives me the opportunity to meet extraordinary artists and pass on the right skills to them".

Says Eugenia Gadaleta, Milan Jewellery Tour founder.

Innovation and artistic vision in contemporary crafts will be presented through different types of arts such as ceramics, art jewellery, lacquer, metal, textiles, glass, paper and wood.

Registration to participate is open till March 20, for more information
