The Heritage Crafts Association has launched a new Award of £1,000 with the kind support of Marsh Christian Trust.

The HCA/Marsh Endangered Craft Award 2017/18 will be awarded to the proposal which in the opinion of the judges makes the best use of the funds to secure the survival of an Endangered or Critically Endangered Craft.

The winner will be announced at the HCA’s annual conference “Crafts for the Future” on 24th March 2018 at the Royal Society of Medicine, London.

For the purposes of the Award, eligible crafts are those which fall in the Endangered or Critically Endangered categories as defined in The HCA / Radcliffe Red List of Endangered Crafts.

For further details please see: http://heritagecrafts.org.uk/redlist/categories-of-risk/

The list of Endangered or Critically Endangered Crafts may change in future years.
