Andover Heritage Mural Project

Test Valley Borough Council wish to commission an artist to create two new murals for the Andover Heritage Trail. The artworks will provide dynamic visuals that animate the two heritage locations and their stories and provide a coherent theme to the existing trail. The artworks will enable residents and visitors of Andover to learn about, enjoy and discover the heritage of the town.

The sites for the Murals are the Old Gaol (Old Jail) on Bridge Street [a small cubby hole], and the Angel Inn yard in the Upper High Street [the main mural]. Two very different sites with their own challenges for the commission.
