Hothouse is the Crafts Council’s intensive programme of creative and business development for ambitious and talented emerging makers who have set up their creative practice or craft business in the last three years. Applications close on Monday 5 September 2016. 

If you're an ambitious maker who has set up their creative practice or craft business in the last three years, ‪the Crafts Council's Hothouse could be for you. This creative practice and business development programme has transformed the careers of more than 200 emerging makers to date, helping them to establish a strong foundation for their business.

Hothouse includes a two-day residential, six hours of 1:1 mentoring, monthly business development training days and connects you to a national network of makers and organisations. It provides you with the tools to grow a sustainable and successful business when you need them most - at the start of your career.
