Call for Applications: Beyond the Border 2018

The 25th Birthday Barnstormer will be a very special event, with limited ticket numbers and performances centred around The Castle, The Blue Garden, the new Moondance Hall, and of course the medieval Tythe Barn Theatre.

Expect fables and myths, music and magic, love stories and laughter, fun and games for children and fairy tales for grown-ups, all in the beautiful grounds of our castle by the sea.

Taking part will be some of the best musicians and storytellers from Wales and the World, including Sweden, Finland, Italy, India, Belgium, Norway and Palestine….

Applications Open

Applications are now open for traders interested in selling food, arts and crafts at the 2018 Beyond the Border Birthday Barnstormer.

We are expecting around 1,000 participants per day to this year’s event.

We are particularly interested in stalls which

enhance the visual appeal of the site
have a connection to our themes or to Welsh culture
are local to us in the Vale of Glamorgan

We appoint caterers and traders on a rolling basis, but intend to have confirmed the majority of pitches by the end of May.
