Arts Council Culture Recovery Fund Grant

The Arts Council has published guidance for the Culture Recovery Fund: Grants programme.

This fund forms part of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport’s (DCMS) wider Culture Recovery Fund of £1.57 billion, set up to protect the UK’s culture and heritage sectors from the economic impacts of Covid-19.

Grants from between £50,000 to £3 million will be available.

Eligibity - Cultural organisations (both profit and not for profit) based in England that are properly constituted and are registered at Companies House and/or Charity Commission, and are able to produce at least one year’s full independently certified or audited financial statements.
Local Authorities, Universities and other Public Sector bodies who run or maintain cultural services can also apply.
For this programme, we define ‘cultural’ as sitting within the remit of Arts Council England, however Library services are not eligible to apply.

The Arts Council state whilst there are two rounds for this fund, they will aim to ensure a consistent offer rate across both funding rounds. If you have an application ready in time for Round 1, they strongly encourage you to apply to this round.

Application dates:

Round 1 -  Open for applications: 10 August 2020 at Midday.  Deadline for applications: 21 August 2020 at Midday

Round 2 - Open for applications 21 August 2020 at 4pm. Deadline for applications: 4 September 2020 at Midday
