Visiting retailers will have chance to reconnect with the teams at Hockley Mint, Ntinga, CW Sellors, Clarity Jewellery, Cadfolio, Fei Liu, GVUK Design, Code by Edge, Mireya, Lucy Quatermaine, Goodman Bros., Ruppenthal, LBJ Jewellery, Angel Whisperer, TI SENTO – Milano and Headline Sponsor, Continental UK, across all three days of the event.

Garry Lane, NAJ’s Commercial Manager overseeing the Supplier Showcase says: “We’re delighted to be offering the Showcase as part of the NAJ Summit 2021. The relaxed and accessible setting presents the ideal opportunity for product to be seen and meetings to be had. This event is certainly something different in the sector, but has always, and will always be about NAJ members.”

Gary Wroe, Managing Director of Hockley Mint and NAJ Chairman, comments: “As a team, we are really looking forward to exhibiting at the NAJ Summit 2021. This is an important opportunity for us to reconnect with our existing customers and do face-to-face business for the first time in 18-months. I am confident that the event will be a success, both from the perspective of a supplier and as the Chairman of the NAJ. On a separate note, I am thrilled to see how many of my fellow suppliers have signed-up to participate as it will provide a welcome environment to discuss the state of play with them.”

Howard Mintz of Birmingham Jewellery Quarter-based supplier, Clarity Jewellery, says: “We have been starved of exhibitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The opportunity has arisen to exhibit at the NAJ Summit and it’s the right time to utilise our NAJ membership and see what it can bring to our business. We can highlight our quality and consistency of product to independent retailers at the NAJ Summit, where we intend to showcase our entire range.”

Lucy Quartermaine adds: “The NAJ Summit is the perfect platform to connect with buyers from all types of stores - independents, multiples and online retailers. After a difficult year for us all, we are so excited to meet everyone once again and connect with fellow jewellery businesses and fashion brands as these are experiences that cannot be replicated online.”

The Suppliers’ Showcase is one of five core pillars of the inaugural NAJ Summit 2021, which also includes the Valuers’ Conference, hosted by the Institute of Registered Valuers; the Retail Jewellers’ Congress, hosted by the NAJ Jet Business Network; the NAJ Members’ Gala Dinner sponsored by Back on the High Street (BoTH); and a series of workshops, seminars and networking events for the trade.

Graham Dicks of GVUK Design continues: “We are delighted the NAJ has organised this industry summit and cannot wait to catch up with our friends and colleagues, especially after such a long time apart. Many of our clients are reporting really high volumes of sales and bench-work so coping with this flood of business has brought its own challenges, it will be helpful to see how we are all managing, and this relaxed format is probably the best location to get together.”

Says Judith Lockwood, Director of Mesmeric Distribution Ltd that distributes TI SENTO – Milano: “This event gives our business the chance to listen and learn from interesting and relevant key speakers, to mix with a wide variety of industry colleagues in a relaxed environment, and hopefully to write some business with existing and potentially new retailers too. We love to network and hear how fellow retailers and suppliers are doing and the NAJ Summit will be a great place to do this.”

Further exhibitors within the Suppliers’ Showcase will be announced in the lead-up to the event.

The NAJ Summit will take place at the De Vere Staverton Estate in Northampton, which offers a leisure club, spa and 18-hole golf course. It is conveniently located for UK business owners and within easy access of the M1, Birmingham Airport and West Coast Mainline, with a journey from London Euston to the venue taking just over 60 minutes.

Tickets are competitively priced, with discounts available for on-site accommodation and ‘three for two’ offers provided for independent retailers and their teams.
