A charitable dinner by candlelight event held by the Benevolent Society, the charity which financially assists individuals that have worked within the giftware, jewellery, surface engineering, travel goods and fashion accessories industries, has had the Giftware Association step up as its headline sponsor.

One of the highlights of the jewellery industry’s calendar, The Benevolent Society's Annual Sponsors’ Dinner, this year will be an exclusive dinner and entertainment by candlelight event at Goldsmiths’ Hall, London

The event is put on not only to thank the Federation Benevolent Society’s sponsors and supporters, but also to raise funds for the charity which helps those who have worked within the industry itself.

Exclusive tickets are released in stages and the first allocation of 142 tickets sold out almost immediatley. A second round of tickets have now been released with a final 50 being available.

Dinner by candlelight is a rare event, with the Goldsmiths' Hall ceremonial plate on display and the atmoshperic crystal facets of the four matching nineteenth century chandeliers each holding forty-eight candles, twinkling in the candlelight.

Due to the generosity of the British Allied Trades Federation and Goldsmiths’ Hall, the cost of the tickets has been heavily subsidised, offering guests the exclusive event at the greatly reduced rate of £145 + vat, to include a Drinks Reception, Dinner, half a bottle of wine per person and entertainment.

The aim of the Benevolent Society, a charitable society of the British Allied Trades Federation, is to financially assist individuals that have worked within the giftware, jewellery, surface engineering, travel goods and fashion accessories industries and also to help individuals starting or progressing their careers in these industries through bursaries to help with their studies.

Other sponsors of the event include Charles Green & Co, Facets PR, Hockley Mint and Jeweller Solutions, with further sponsorship opportunities still available.

The final allocation of tickets will remain on sale until 14th April. Those interested in attending the event are urged to secure their tickets as soon as possible.
