Award winning jeweller Corrinne Eira Evans and her talented painter partner, Olly Oliver, have opened up a handmade lifestyle gallery shop in the up and coming Victorian Arcade in Okehampton, Devon.

The historic building has become a hive of indie activity in recent months, with other small businesses opening up there.

On entering Moon & Moor you are meet with the soft aroma of handmade soaps, a homely room full of indoor plants, cacti, objects of curiosity, and a wealth of handmade pieces and original art adorning the walls.

The pair are also passionate about skill-sharing. As well as a retail experience, regualar workshops will be held in the space on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays.

A novelty for visitors, the gallery houses Corrinne’s jewellers bench, which on a Thursday, Friday & Saturday you will see her creating new jewellery, under going repairs and making commissioned pieces.

The pair say:

‘Handmade in the everyday living, positive sustainability and sharing skills was the passion behind Moon & Moor- the gallery is like our fun space to create, curate and explore!’
