Harriet Laurence, a recent graduate of the MA Craft degree at the University of Brighton will present her range of recycled polymer jewellery in a first-time partnership exhibition with Hove Museum and Art gallery, which will run from the 15th September - 6th November 2018.

Created in collaboration with Weez & Merl Ltd, a local polymer recycling studio, Harriet’s three statement necklaces are handcrafted from 3.9kgs of waste plastic diverted from landfill. The range explores how jewellery design can play an active role in responsible, sustainable material use and challenge the perceived hierarchy of materials.
