Award winning Arabel Lebrusan has been shortlisted for the E-Tailer category in The National Association of Jewellers Awards 2016. The winners will be announced as part of the Benevolent Society ball which will take place on 1st December.

Lebrusan has been committed to designing and making beautiful ethical jewellery for the last decade.

Using her Spanish roots as a starting point, she started using the ancient technique of filigree to create stunning contemporary designs. Lebrusan really thrives on the challenge of combining the old with the new, driven by her interest in a sustainable approach to life. Lebrusan started creating contemporary filigree pieces using only ethically sourced materials, like recycled metals and traceable gemstones.

The last five years has seen the filigree collection expand, and her designs are worn by celebrities like Sienna Miller, Bella Freud and even the Royals, like Queen Letizia of Spain who wears her bangles regularly to public events.

Due to popular demand, what was once a small collection of engagement rings and wedding bands, has now multiplied into four main collections of themed bridal jewellery.

Lebrusan comments, “A wedding or engagement ring is a unique once in a life time purchase and we treat each order and customer as an individual. It is important for us to build a friendly relationship with our clients. We strive for perfection and keeping the customer informed at every stage of the creative process is really important to us. We aim to make our customers feel comfortable and able to ask us anything, especially when they have only seen an image of the product online.”

Thanks to Lebrusan’s personal and customer centric touch, online global sales are increasing year on year. Items are also featured and available to purchase through other online retailers.

Lebrusan says “Not only is it our mission to make every customer feel special, but we also make every piece of jewellery special. We use only the most ethical materials available to us which makes every piece feel beautiful inside and out.”

Spring 2017 will see Arabel’s first collection using Fair Mined Eco Gold. One of the first registered jewellers in the UK to use Fair Trade Gold, Lebrusan is now able to give her customers even more ethical choices.

With beautiful design, quality and ethics at the core of her business, Lebrusan is increasingly becoming a point of reference on all things ethical in the jewellery world.
