About us

Gold Arts is a family run Jewellers, established in 1979 with branches in Brighton, Eastbourne and Chichester & six GA Pawnbrokers based in Worthing, Hove, Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings. Each Gold Arts shop has a goldsmith’s workshop on the premises offering bespoke commissions and repair, while the Worthing & Hove branches of GA Pawnbrokers also boast an onsite workshop.

Gold Arts is an independent jeweller, well known across Sussex with owner Doug Newman overseeing the company since its beginnings in 1979 with the first store opening in the Brighton Lanes.  His original concept of combining a retail store with an onsite workshop has retained a loyal customer base, as jewellery can be both purchased, commissioned, valued, resized, repaired, restored, part-exchanged or sold.

As an independent jeweller Gold Arts can offer services tailored all needs.  The designs can be altered to suit any budget and taste. The onsite workshops undertake everything from simple repairs such as re-sizing to complete remodelling of jewellery.

The staff at Gold Arts are always friendly and helpful, many have been with the company over 10 years, and some over 25 years.  In store and online, you can always contact Gold Arts for free advice on whatever your jewellery need may be.  Visit Gold Arts at Brighton, Eastbourne and Chichester or online at goldarts.co.uk
