About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced micro setter to join Weston Beamor. As part of a tight knit production team you will be responsible for setting a wide range of bespoke jewellery pieces.

This role will see you working in all setting styles, across all precious alloys from 9ct to platinum, and with a range of stone cuts across diamond, precious gemstones and semi-precious stones.

You will work closely with the Weston Beamor CAD designers and mounters to ensure every piece is produced to an exceptional standard and delivered to the customer on time.

Your continual feedback will be instrumental in driving improvements to models, setting techniques and production processes to ensure our product quality and service remains industry-leading.

About the candidate

You have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, high standards and enjoy working as part of a fast paced, ambitious team. Creative thinking to overcome design challenges is essential.

You will thrive in an environment where no two days are the same and have a strong desire to meet deadlines to ensure we exceed customer expectations. You will be confident working under your own direction and able to manage your own time effectively.

Micro setting experience is essential and you should be confident and competent in all areas of commercial jewellery setting. However, you should also have a passion for developing your own expertise and that of the team around you; you embrace sharing knowledge and enjoy participating in training initiatives.

You have excellent team working skills, strong hand-eye coordination, good attention to detail and, most importantly, enthusiasm for producing high quality product.
