Environment Agency Artist Residency 2010 - Northumbria

Inspire Northumberland and the Environment Agency are seeking to appoint a dynamic and imaginative Artist to be based within the Northumbria Local Levy Team at the Agency's North East office in Newcastle upon Tyne. The appointed artist will spend 60 days working with the Environment Agency over a period of six months (March-Sept 2010). He/she will be invited to respond to and engage creatively with a range of Environment Agency activities across Northumberland, including flood defence, environmental improvement and climate change awareness projects.

Artist's fee: £15,000 plus a budget of up to £15,000 for production materials and to support the development of commission proposals.
