Internship: The Hand Engravers Association of Great Britain

Background info:
The Hand Engravers Association is dedicated to all practitioners of this craft on metal and precious and semi-precious stones.

We believe there is a lack of awareness and appreciation for what they do. The aim of the Association is to reverse this and to reignite an interest and understanding of this rich and diverse skill and arrange a variety of training schemes.

 

What we want:
We are looking for pro-active and articulate interns with sound office and IT skills to aid us in a variety of aspects in the running of our Association. Your tasks will be wide and varied including liaising with members, revising the website and contacting the trade press.

 

Essential requirements:

Knowledge Publisher, Word, Excel and Outlook and experience of using CSM for websites. Knowledge of photo editing software e.g.: Photoshop / Photoshop Elements

 

Advantageous requirements: 

A student of or graduate of an Art & Design course. An interest in working within the Arts

 

Hours:
Normal office hours, approx 1 day a week
