John Ellerman Foundation

The John Ellerman Foundation makes grants to UK registered charities which work nationally, not locally in the following areas: Health and disability; Social welfare; Arts; Conservation; Overseas.

At present the focus of its arts funding is directed towards:

• Music and opera;

• Museums and galleries;

• Theatre and dance.

The Foundation is particularly interested in charities which can demonstrate excellence within the field, commitment to attracting new audiences and wider public access, youth participation and motivation, originality and creativity in design, production and/or presentation, and lasting impact. Its minimum grant is £10,000.
