CA R T : 'A creative initiative aiming to challenge the perception of urban space'

You are invited to be a part of this pioneering project. We are asking you to work on a 1:24'' model replica car, completely transforming its exterior in order to change the meaning of the vehicle. All maquettes will be featured throughout the primary exhibition and then a select few will invited to make them into full-scale working cars. Our aim is to produce a series of 'Art-Cars', which will form a dynamic installation using London as our chosen location. The cars will travel in convoy throughout the city, visiting major art institutions to create a 'rolling urban spectacle' and an opportunity for the public to engage with the project. The completed maquettes need to be returned to us by the 16th March 2010 and you will be informed by the end of March if your work has been chosen for full-scale production.
