B&Q 'One Planet Living' Awards

B&Q has announced this year's community awards scheme - the 'One Planet Living' (OPL) Awards. To celebrate the organisations 40th anniversary, it is offering up to £10,000 of B&Q products to forty individual projects around the UK - twice the number of projects it supported last year. Applicants must demonstrate that their activities will support one of four themes: 'saving energy'; 'nature conservation'; 'local culture and heritage'; and 'grow your own'. £10,000 of B&Q products will be awarded to one community group that shows how they will contribute significantly to working towards a one planet way of living. It will also offer four awards of £5,000, and a further 35 awards of £2,000.
