N.A.G Members Shortlisted for UK Jewellery Awards

Several N.A.G. members are hoping to sparkle at this year's UK Jewellery Awards taking place at Grosvenor House Hotel on 16th July, 2009. Winners will be announced at the glittering ceremony hosted by celebrity stylist Nick Ede with dinner and a catwalk show.

The independent judging panel will look at retailers, designers and suppliers from across the country, including the following N.A.G. members in various categories: Jeremy France Jewellers, Keanes, Steffans, Beaverbrooks, Chisholm Hunter, Herbert Brown, Ernest Jones, H Samuel, Wave Contemporary Jewellery and CW Sellors.

Amanda Reavell, N.A.G's Executive Manager said: “There's tough competition to gain recognition in today's economy but we're really proud to see that our members have been shortlisted and we wish them the best of luck.”

The fierce competition however hasn't put off Jo Henderson, Creative Director of Kendal based retailer Wave Contemporary Jewellery, whose five stores are the minimum requirement for the multiple retailer category. She said: “We're very excited about being nominated. We're up against some of the bigger chains so it's nice to see that what we're doing is being recognised.”
