Jewellery Festival at Christmas @ Artshed Gallery, Ware 28 - 29 November 2009

Artshed is a contemporary art centre situated in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside of Westmill Farm near Ware and Hertford. Due to the success of their Jewellery courses and growing need for a contemporary collaboration in the South East, Artshed are proudly hosting a new Christmas Jewellery Festival celebrating the world of home grown jewellery making. The festival will bring together some of the countries finest Jewellery workers, suppliers and supporters, all under one roof, creating a unique shopping experience. All forms of Jewellery construction will be represented from silver and gold Jewellery designers and makers, lampworking, PMC, beading, textile, ceramic, resins and many more…..

Live demonstrations will be scheduled over the weekend from the leading professionals and taster benches for visitors to try their hand at a new skill. We can also proudly announce that the festival will be supported by leading suppliers such as Proops Brothers and Cookson Gold Metals of Birmingham. The Artshed are continuing their support of local charity Isabel Hospice by holding a charity private view event on the 27th November. The evening will be by invitation only and be attended by loyal supporters of the Artshed, Isabel Hospice representatives and the local mayor. The festive shopping evening will give attendees first choice from over 40 leading craftsmen. The evening will also include carol singing, mulled wine and minced pies with all donations going to the hospice.
