Arts Development Officer (Part Time), Wyre Borough Council - North West
Following a restructure of the Leisure Services Directorate we are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and self motivated individual to develop and promote arts activities that increases attendance and participation across the district.
You will be confident in your abilities to lead on arts related projects, develop networks and creative approaches to engage and increase participation amongst target groups. You will develop an overall strategy to develop the arts and creatives industries and you will work in partnership with key local and national organisations and authorities.
You should have completed a recognised course of study in the Arts or Creative Industries (preferably to degree standard) and you should be able to demonstrate excellent customer care and posses sound planning and organisational skills. You must be a self-starter, a good organiser, possess excellent communication skills, a keen negotiator with exemplary reporting skills. You'll also have the ability to manage a small team in an effective, friendly and productive manner.
